Mission and Beliefs

Our mission is to challenge a diverse family of learners to make a positive impact for Christ in our world. Our students grow in their faith through academic, spiritual, and social experiences that integrate creative thinking with a biblical world-view. We strive to do everything for the glory of God.

We believe…

In the one true God who is the infinite, eternal, and unchangeable Creator and Sustainer of all life and who is made of three equal but separate persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, comprised of 66 books and is our only standard of authority for faith and practice.

Man was created in the image of God, but Adam, through sinful disobedience, brought sin and death upon all mankind condemning all to Hell.   Therefore, man needs a Savior because of his sin nature.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, who came to bring salvation to all. Salvation is provided through His substitutionary and sacrificial death on the cross. Jesus Christ then rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father interceding for believers. He provides forgiveness of sins and redemption for all those who put their trust in Him.

Salvation of sinful man is a free gift through the grace of God received by placing one’s faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross and not by any works of man.

The Holy Spirit’s present ministry is to indwell all believers to help them live godly lives and to minister within the Church, which is comprised of all believers both locally and worldwide.

We affirm that…

Each student is capable of excellence regardless of talents, personality, or special needs.

Effective education develops the whole child spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

Academic excellence is best achieved when there is a partnership of shared responsibility between the school, student, and family.

Integrating high academic standards, creative thinking, and a Biblical worldview will prepare students for academic success both at HCA and at their educational institutions beyond our walls.

Students are called by God to demonstrate the love of Christ by serving their school, family, church, and community. The school is to play a direct role in modeling, teaching, and providing opportunities to practice this skill at all grade levels.
