What could be more important than laying a solid foundation for a child’s life? Our preschool faculty are experts in Early Childhood Development and are passionate about forming young hearts and minds to be all that they can be. They each embrace their calling to instruct and nurture each child with a sense of joy, determination, and dependence upon the Lord Jesus Christ.
The aim of our preschool program is twofold: to equip your little one with the fundamental knowledge and skills he or she will need in order to transition into grade school prepared for fruitful learning, and to familiarize them with the Word of God and teach them to trust and follow Jesus. As they move up in grades at HCA, their education will continually build upon this foundational knowledge.

A Mother’s Testimonial:
Goals of Preschool
Social & Emotional Development
We encourage children to develop social skills such as self-control and cooperation. Our goal for your child is to develop independence, self-confidence, and a desire for learning, while reaching their God-given potential.
We provide hands-on experiences for children to learn about God’s world. Informal and planned learning activities help to develop their listening, thinking, and speaking skills, along with instruction in language and numbers.
Children are given opportunities to develop their fine motor skills through creative art and hands-on activities. Our facility includes indoor and outdoor play areas for activities that develop general coordination and motor skills. Healthy, nutritious snacks are a regular part of the daily schedule.
We are committed to and excited about introducing your child to Jesus and His love. Bible stories, prayer, Bible memorization, and worship are all part our preschool curriculum. We believe deeply that God’s Word is essential to all of life’s experiences.
The preschool curriculum is The Letter People, which covers the following:
- letter recognition
